CHANNEL GUIDELINES

Motorshow & Events

Best Practices – Do:

  1. All Motorshow & Event contents should follow the Feel & Look of the new Brand Creative Expression.
  2. Videos built for motor shows and events should be produced with the highest quality animation style and CGI level.
  3. Creative should be reductive and focused on one clear message.
  4. Upbeat, tech-forward music and fast pacing should be included to maintain a captivating energy level.
  5. Demonstration of NIM technologies & their expressions must follow guidelines.
  6. Vehicle must be clearly shown at the ending of the video and be featured with the ZXA-approved hero angle.

Best Practices – Do Not:

  1. Include overly complicated storylines.
  2. Display environments that distract from the vehicle or have a dystopian feel and look.
  3. Use comedy/childish/toy-ish elements.
  4. Include orchestral or classical music.
  5. Display unsafe and reckless driving.
  6. Produce low quality animation style or CGI.

Mnemonic for Motorshow and Events

The Nissan Mnemonic must be present in all Nissan videos, using only the approved Standard Mnemonic File.

The opening logo animation and the ending mnemonic are mandatory for videos longer than 15 seconds. Music/sound used in the video must not extend through the sound design Mnemonic — no exceptions.

Must keep pixel-by-pixel build.

The “show venue/event” video versions mnemonic resolutions are defined by specific venue/screen specifications, and should be positioned based on stage layout. In the event a vehicle on-stage causes an unclear view of the logo in the mnemonic, the logo position can be moved higher to ensure full visibility.

Follow separate “All Agency Brief” file for specifics on Motorshow and Event guidelines.
